Why Whitney started the show
I started Impostrix Podcast to support and be in community with other workers of color who were feeling frequently challenged by feelings of non-belonging, otherness, or "imposter syndrome." I was experiencing a particularly difficult time in my career as an attorney and feeling less and less free to be authentically me. I heal in community with others and it was actually while reading an article on Dr. Fani's work (the topic for Episode 10), that I felt validated, seen, and inspired to go ahead and do the thing!
