About Chris Colbert, CEO of DCP Entertainment
Chris's journey in audio production took off as an intern and consultant at Sirius Satellite Radio (now SiriusXM Radio), all while pursuing his degree at Seton Hall University. His early career highlights include contributing to the launch of Jamie Foxx’s comedy and music channel, “The Foxxhole,” which saw remarkable success.
Following his achievements with “The Foxxhole,” Chris embraced a full-time role at SiriusXM. There, he played a pivotal role in the creation of “Carlin’s Corner,” dedicated to George Carlin’s comedy, and “Que Funny,” the platform’s exclusive bilingual Latino comedy channel. His responsibilities expanded to include programming and operations for “Urban View” and “Blue Collar Radio” (rebranded as “Jeff & Larry’s Comedy Roundup”), along with involvement in temporary channels like “Richard Pryor Radio” and “Comic Con Radio.”
Elevating to Director of Urban Talk and Comedy, Chris contributed to numerous audio documentaries, paving the way for his next venture as Vice President of Programming at Cadence13 (previously DGital Media). At Cadence13, he led documentary projects and produced acclaimed podcasts such as “Cover Up” and “What Really Happened.”
Chris's extensive collaborations include work with renowned figures and organizations like Jamie Foxx, Joy-Ann Reid, and the United Negro College Fund, showcasing his expertise in media partnerships and content development.
Driven by a desire to forge connections through compelling storytelling, Chris established DCP Entertainment, a hub for innovative audio and visual narratives.
