Sherley is a fervent advocate for technology and a social curator based in Toronto, skillfully weaving together over a decade of experience in podcasting, audio production, social media, and entrepreneurial endeavors into an exciting career trajectory.
She co-founded The Chonilla Network, a pioneering podcast collective and digital media platform dedicated to amplifying diverse voices and transforming the podcasting scene in Canada. Sherley and her team are committed to celebrating the myriad of human experiences, championing the concept of "seeing colour" as a way to uncover the depth and richness inherent in each person's story.
Her projects, including the "People of Canada" image site and the Toronto-centric Black Canadian Creators Podcast and Instagram, are focused on elevating the varied narratives within the Canadian context, ensuring these voices are heard and appreciated.
Beyond her podcasting endeavors, Sherley is dedicated to mentoring within the new media space. Through specialized coaching, she empowers podcasters, whether newcomers or veterans, to manifest their creative visions into successful auditory experiences.
